Incredibly quick work! Had a problem with my engine dying whenever I made a tight turn, but the check engine light didn't turn on. Was referred to Jeff at Auto Tech. I was afraid my problem was going to be handwaved and told that I was going to have to get a new car, but Jeff and Andrew listened to what I had to say, and found out it was the crankshaft position sensor. Excellent work, excellent service, and SO MUCH CHEAPER than having to get a new car!!

Jeff is awesome! Trust me I have called every place for about the last 6 months to compare services and cost. Even though I drive a common car, it is our only car and I am really proactive about maintenance on it. And since its a Ford a lot of Fords want specific fluids or parts like some Asian cars. Problem is I never drive our car...that is on my spouse. So I had to find someone in Omaha I could trust. I had Jeff and his team do an oil change and coolant flush. Because the battery in our car is approaching 5 years I figured it close to being time, but I also planned on needing new brakes as well. Again this is vital I find someone I trust as my wife would be the face of the interactions and she hates dealing with cars. Jeff was caring and as luck would have it the battery was on its death bed while in service. Jeff's price for a replacement battery was fair and he checked everything else on the car and never tried to upsell or push services. Even though I changed the battery on my own he was helpful in charging the car so that my wife can get home. I see something about pricing but Jeff is more than fair on pricing and his estimates are on the nose. My buddy Alex has validated this when he took his truck in for service as well. In the world of cars today its vital with the cost of new and used cars finding trust worthy and honest/fair priced mechanics and Jeff checks all of those boxes.

My first experience at this garage and the owner is the most personable mechanic I've dealt with to date. Very professional and very friendly, and that goes a long way in my book. Jeff had no issues with giving me the breakdown of the estimate for some repairs that my car needed. He briefly explained issues and potential reasons for needed repairs. Also got a very reasonably priced oil change. I'm not from the city, so the labor rate felt kind of high for me; however, I imagine that this is the standard rate for Omaha or pretty close. Worth it if you've got yourself a good mechanic. The turn around time for the vehicle repairs on my car were also great.

I've been bringing my cars to Jeff for at least 25 years, on a recommendation from a neighbor when I first moved to Omaha - it will be a sad, sad day when he retires. My family has been sending our cars to Jeff for 20 odd years. We've never had a less than amazing experience, and his pricing is more than reasonable. I even drove 6 hours to come home for 24hrs while I was in college because he's the only one I trust to work on my car. Tl;dr great service, great price, call Jeff asap.

Jeff is an honest guy. Had antifreeze leaking and was told by another mechanic that it was a leaky head gasket. Jeff said he would need it for the day and he would put under a pressure test and see what was happening. Later that day Jeff called me and said it was leaking out of the thermostat and running down along the gasket. I was planning on paying over a thousand dollars to get it fixed. Jeff charged me less then a hundred for the thermostat housing and the testing. I have referred multiple people. Thanks again Jeff
